AVT leadership
AVT stands for anti-vibration track. Due to the special diamond-shaped and continuous running roll guide, the vibration of the machine is reduced by up to 75% compared to standard excavator chains. The vibrations when moving the trolley via the chains' segments are reduced to a minimum. Through AVT technology, your machine runs calmer and more stable overall. This has several advantages: First, driving comfort for the machine operator is increased enormously. The driver is less stressed and noise pollution is significantly reduced. But this also spares the machine itself. The drive parts of the machine are less stressed by less vibrations. This ensures lower maintenance costs and less downtime.
At Baumashop24.com you can choose from most chain models whether you want to order them with or without AVT leadership.
This is how you measure the dimensions of rubber charms
Basically, rubber arches according to the scheme width x length x division (number chain members) are referred to, e.g. 500x92x84. The width of the rubber tracks is specified in millimeters, you can simply measure this. The length is the distance between two chain members. You measure from the beginning of a chain member to the beginning of the next chain member, also in millimeters. The division is about the number of chain members, simply count them.
What do letters B, K, N, T, W or Y mean?
Some rubber bins are also marked with a letter (B, K, N, T, W or Y). It does not matter where the letter is, i.e. 500x92kx84 and 500x92x84k are the same chains.
The letters Y, T and B are used for models from the manufacturer Yanmar (Y), Takeuchi (T) and Bobcat (B).
K, N and W relate to the leadership of the chain. When the rollers run outside (external), they are marked with a K. In the case of internal chains, the letters are available and W. n is derived from the English "Narrow" and stands for a narrow track (approx. 40 mm). W, on the other hand, stands for "wide", i.e. a wide track (from 50 mm).Long-Pitch and Short-Pitch
Long-Pitch and Short-Pitch relate to the differences in the division of the rubber shops. With short-pitch chains, the individual chain members are shorter than with long-pitch chains, which leads to better rolling behavior and lets the machine run calmer. If you are currently traveling with a long-pitch chain, you can usually also on a short pitch rubber tracks convert. It is only important that the total length of the chain remains the same. So if you currently use a chain with the dimensions 230x96x33 (long-pitch), you can usually also order a chain with the dimensions 230x96x66. The chain members (33) are only half as long for the short-pitch chain, accordingly there are twice as many of them (66) so that the chain length remains the same.
