Today we would like to introduce you to our new addition to the TERROX attachments: the TERROX leveling bar. Combined with a tiltrotator, it is the perfect support for grading work with your excavator. How it works and what advantages it offers compared to a conventional spoon – just read on.
HOW DOES THE LEVELING BEAM WORK?
Our TERROX leveling beam is made of high-quality and durable Hardox steel. At the front, the material is removed to the desired thickness using the two cross members. With the roller, which is attached to the rear of the leveling bar, the ground is simultaneously smoothed and pre-compacted. The attachment is designed for use with a tiltrotator in order to be able to use the beam flexibly and without having to move the excavator a lot. In principle, however, it can also be attached to a mechanical quick coupler. The leveling bar can be manufactured individually with Lehnhoff or OilQuick holders, and the cutting width can also be selected yourself.
WHAT ARE THE APPLICATIONS AND ADVANTAGES OF THE LEVELING BEAM?
The leveling beam is ideal for use on flat surfaces, for example in road and path construction, paving construction or in hall construction or agriculture. The professional for fine grading is much faster and easier to use than a conventional leveling bucket. The large attack surface ensures consistent and, above all, quick results - in just one operation. However, if you mainly work on embankments, slopes, etc., a bucket is the better choice for you (here for the TERROX leveling buckets ).
The advantages at a glance:
- Simultaneous removal and compaction in just one step
- Durable Hardox steel
- Easier and quicker to use than with a leveling bucket on flat surfaces
- Manufactured according to your wishes, different cutting widths and recordings possible
