Runs like lubricated

Construction machines are often exposed to severe loads and work in demanding environments. It is all the more important to reduce wear and to ensure a long service life as well as reliability of the machine and its attachments. In the construction machine area, Epiroc has found the perfect solution for the automatic lubrication of hydraulic hammers: Contilube II reduces the time expenditure compared to manual lubrication and also offers other advantages. You can find out which these are here.

That's how it works

The Contilube II is attached directly to the adapter plate of the hydraulic hammer. As a result, the Contilube II series is particularly suitable for rental parks, since the lubricating device always remains connected to the attachment, even if it is absorbed by another carrier device. The highlight of the automatic lubrication device is the small pump in the housing, which ventilates itself and only drops chisel fat if necessary. So only exactly the amount of lubricating fat is released, which is really needed in the respective use. Another advantage: the filling level of the cartridge can easily be monitored directly from the cabin.

The Contilube II is available for heavy hydraulic hammers and in the micro version for smaller devices.

Why is it so important to your Jackhammer to smear properly?

It is important to lubricate hydraulic hammers on construction machinery in order to ensure their performance, reliability and service life. These are the reasons for this:

  • Reduce friction and wear: The lubrication forms a protective layer between moving parts to reduce friction and wear. This helps to extend the lifespan of the components of the hydraulic hammer.
  • Ensure efficient performance: Well -lubricated components work more efficiently and achieve better performance. A poor lubrication can lead to increased energy consumption and impair the performance of the construction machine.
  • Corrosion protection: The lubrication forms a protective layer on the metal surfaces to protect them from corrosion and rust, especially in environments with high moisture or aggressive conditions.

Overall, regular lubrication contributes to reducing the operating costs, maximizing the operating times and improving the reliability of the construction machine. It is therefore important to adhere to the maintenance intervals recommended by the manufacturer and use high -quality lubricant.
