Rubber pads - the right choice for sensitive surfaces

When changing terrain and loose surfaces on asphalt, concrete or other sensitive areas, the question often arises how you can best convert your excavator's steel chains. If your machine is too large for entire rubber charms, rubber pipads are ideal for not damaging sensitive surfaces. Here we explain which types there are and which rubber pipads are best suited for what.

What are the differences?

Basically, one can distinguish between bolt-on, clip-on and roadliner pads. Both bolt-on and clip-on-rubipads are fastened comparatively quickly to the steel floor panels below. Labor costs are minimized because your machine does not have to stand still. Roadliner pads, on the other hand, are installed directly on the steel chain. This ensures optimal stability and security. But no matter which solution you choose: all of our pads are made of high -quality rubber, which very well protects the surface.

Bolt-on pads

These rubber pads are best suited for you if your excavator is regularly on different surfaces. They can be securely and firmly attached to the pre -drilled steel chain panels for use on the road with four bolts. If it then goes off -road, you can be dismantled relatively quickly and easily.

Clip-on pads

Clip-on pads are the right choice for your excavator if it is rarely used on paved surfaces. These rubber pads are equipped with a solid holder on one side, on the other side there is a safe screw holder. As a result, they can be clamped and mounted very quickly and flexibly on the steel floor panels of the excavator. Another advantage of this solution is that the floor slabs do not have to be drilled.

Roadliner pads

Is your excavator very difficult and is mainly used in paved areas? Here we recommend our roadliner pads. These are screwed directly to the steel chain and therefore offer optimal stability if you are mostly on the road. They consist of resilient steel floor panels that are in a rubber block.

But roadliner pads are not only worthwhile for use on a single machine. You can also invest in a fully assembled roadliner chain. So you can quickly switch from a steel chain to a rubber arch and attach it to several machines. This is particularly worthwhile if you have a large fleet or a rental park. So you are well equipped with a one -time purchase for all requirements and can meet all needs and wishes.
